Producing Biological Insecticide
- DESCRIPTION:
- Eco-BT biological insecticide (called
BT for short) is a new pesticide with high effect, no toxicity
and no public hazards made from thuricide by bioengineering technology.
It is a biological insecticide recommended by FAO and WHO with
the greatest output and consumption in the world today. It can
be extensively used in sectors of grain crops, cash crops, forestry
and warehousing. The project has already formed a capacity of
1,000-t/a. As the demand is increasing in both the domestic market
and the international market, the product has a broad sales prospect.
It is therefore planned to expand the project on the existing
basis and increase the capacity by 2,000-t/a. The total investment
of the project is 5.03 million US dollar. According to UNIDO IPS-China
IPAC's evaluation through Computer Model for Feasibility Analysis
and Reporting System (MINI COMFAR ⒙■舐■), the NPV is 6.65 million
US$ at 10.00% discount rate; IRR is 28.57%.
