- DESCRIPTION:
- This project is sponsored by Longyan Towel
Plant which is the biggest towel producer in Fujian Province.
It is about 2 km away from the city center, 3 km from the railway
station with good geographical location and convenient transportation.
It is equipped with the complete set of production lines including
breaching, dyeing, weaving, printing and finishing. The plant
is able to process 2,500 tons of yarn and produce 14 millions
towels of different varieties every year. It is also fully equipped
with all public facilities which are more than needed. Since the
Magpie branded products of the Plant won in succession the titles
of "Products Adopting International Standards" and "The First
Group Famous Brands in Fujian Province" in 1994, the economic
indexes of the Plant are increasing at the rate of over 30%. In
order to make better use of the strong technical personnel and
the marketing channels, the Plant is to import advanced equipment
and technology so as to conduct intensive and fine processing
on the existing products, to increase softness, bulkiness and
hydroscopicity of the towels, to develop new top grade towels,
to increase varieties of colours and designs, to increase economic
benefits, and to strengthen the ability to earn more foreign exchanges.
