- DESCRIPTION:
- The potassium sulphate is a high grade
and widely used potassic fertilizer, particularly suitable for
the commercial crops such as tobaccos, fruit trees and tea trees.
There is a wide gap between production and demand in China. Every
year a lot of foreign exchanges are spent on importing from abroad.
The ripe domestic technology is to be applied to produce potassium
sulphate by using potassium chloride, sulfuric acid and teschemacherite
as the raw materials and by applying the technology of associating,
displacing and deassociation. It is operated during normal pressure
with the following characteristics of being easily controlled,
little corrosivity and high quality products. The sponsor is a
key chemical industry enterprise in Fujian Province with a strong
team of technical personnel and specialised railway lines. The
main raw materials, sulphuric acid and teschemacherite, are to
be supplied by Sulfuric Acid Plant and the fertilizer Plant in
Fujian. A complete set of united production equipment is to be
built to produce 5,000 tons of potassium sulphate, 8,000 tons
of potassium sulphate and ammonium, 8,000 tons of industrial hydrochloric
by applying the association and displacement technology. The annual
output value will be US$2.99 million, the annual profit US$200,000,
and the period of recovery on investment is 3.3 years.
