Project Description: Construction Reasons and Conditions:
Construction of the project is of great significance to improvement of the
highway network,upgrading of the technical standards and suiting to the
social and ecnomic development in the region,as well as that of the province
as a whole.
Construction Scale and Content:The project has a total length of 24.28 km,
starting from Donghu in Lianjiang County to Dongyuan Village, Xindian Town,
Fuzhou. It includes a major tunnel of 8010m in length and 2 small tunnels
of 840m and a major bridge with the length of 950m. The tunnel will have
four traffic lanes with the net width of 9.25m.The connection highway will
adopt the first-class highway standards, with the roadbase width of 22.5m.
Total Investment: US125.3 million
Co-op Method: Equity or contractual joint venture
Economic Efficiency Analysis: Based on the preliminary feasibility study,
the economic internal return rate is 8.84%,the investment recouping time
is 14.52 years, the financial internal return rate is 10.93%,and the financial
investment recouping time is 13.09 years.
Project Development: The feasibility study has been completed.
