| HP cuts jobs, but not in China | Article Summary: | Hewlett-Packard's sales income for the second quarter of this year was $100m, higher than in the previous quarter. The company, however, will cut over 3,500 jobs to trim costs, 1,200 of them in the high-end computer business division. These cuts will go beyond measures taken during its integration with Compaq. Hewlett-Packard is continuously growing and HP China is unlikely to be affected by job cuts.
